case study

Town of Carleton Place

After witnessing so much growth over the past decade, the Town of Carleton Place staff wanted to re-brand itself – but not without community engagement.

Cat’s Cove initiated a survey and feedback launch program to the community in order to get insight from residents and business owners regarding their perspective about the Town.

Following several in-person and phone interviews as well as launching an online survey, we collected the results to find out more about the community’s views. We took that information as well as conducted research on municipal marketing initiatives and opportunities in order to formulate Town’s Marketing plan. We also created a culinary marketing plan.

Finally, we re-branded with a logo. We hosted focus groups to determine the best design and messaging before it was approved by council and launched in time for the Town’s 200th anniversary.
